The coronavirus spreads through contact and through respiratory droplets in the air as well. This has led to a widespread infection from the virus, one that has reached millions in number. But there is good news or at least reason to feel optimistic. Everyone knows now how to fight this virus! There are simple techniques that one has to follow. It begins with sanitising one’s hands after touching surfaces. And a simple soap and water will do. If soap is not available, it is recommended to use a hand sanitiser with at least 60% alcohol. Second, always wear a mask when you go outside. Try to wear an N95 mask, because just any mask won’t do. This is because the N95 mask is a respiratory protective device designed to achieve a very close facial fit and very efficient filtration of airborne particles. The edges of the respirator are designed to form a seal around the nose and mouth, much better than other masks. Also, because of their design and materials used, they are superior to cloth masks, which really must not be used.

Last, and perhaps most important, maintain social distancing, that is, a distance of at least two metres from the person next to you. At Technomak, we have been following the research closely and have come up with our own set of protocols to prepare for a Covid-19-free environment. These will help to effectively battle the coronavirus and reduce the risk of infections to very minimum. As part of this, a sanitation tunnel was prepared and temperature checks were carried out. Sanitisers were mounted at multiple locations in the facilities and the use of face masks was made compulsory. People who were symptomatic were advised to stay in isolation until they got better and were advised good care and rest to ensure speedy recovery. The implementation of all these protocols at the same time ensured that the premises of Technomak remained secure and free of Covid - 19.
